Artist Statement:

As a Maryland native I have a great interest in maintaining the natural beauty and presence, the quality of life in my home state. I see my photo-documentary project of Maryland waterways as self imposed responsibility given to me by history and my heritage.

I strive not just to capture images to merely represent a specific place to which I have traveled
with photography but to make a document that some day will be appreciated for my skills as an artist and a naturalist.
